We've got one down here too. Here we go again ;/

>>The fire began about 12:30 p.m. as two separate blazes near the intersection of state Route 79 and county Highway S2 east of Lake Henshaw. They began burning to the north and east and eventually merged into what was dubbed the Mataguay fire.

The fire was deliberately set using "bottle rockets" launched from a passing vehicle, said Mike Neill, a CDF investigator at the scene.

"I don't believe that there was any way that this person thought this would not have started a fire," Neill said.

One of the fireworks started one fire, and the second and third started a second, Neill said. The two fires then joined as they spread. <<

I just took Jack for a walk, had to wear a mask. The smoke covers half the valley, no stars visible tonight.

I saw on the local news Idylwild is having a town meeting this evening to prepare in the event this fire goes up the hill.

How easy it was to set the fourth fire you are reporting. Just a couple of bottle rockets. Everyone needs to be watching the usual areas which are ripe for a fire again. Not much rain this year, a lot of tinder dry brush and dead trees in the mountains.
