this whole aljernaan thing is one of the more fascinating subplots. there's definitely, imo, something big going on with that. anyone familiar with the history of this website?
My hunch on the "globalislamicmedia" site (from what I've read) is that it's pure horsepucky.
The site operator (going by Algernan - The Voice) appears to be extremely upset about American foreign policy - and apparently has the VERY misguided view that by spouting off about it, and the "dire consequences" that the PEOPLE of the US will suffer due to US GOVERNMENT policy - will somehow get the troops out of Iraq. That, and will bring the entire world together to sing Kumbaya.
I can see the goal. The methods are suspect and a bit laughable (I esp. liked the "3 nukes will make 1/3 of the US uninhabitable". That alone killed ANY credibility this person has IMHO).
