And yet some of the most adamant supporters of "gun control" are "civil rights" groups like the NAACP. What accounts for THAT? The article didn't really explain it.

What needs to be made clear here is that certain minority groups in this country commit a vastly disproportionate amount of violent crime, including gun crimes. For the NAACP, placing the blame on the guns themselves serves to distract from the point that most of the gun crimes committed today are committed by blacks.

For a thorough examination of this, using FBI data -- which is included -- see Jared Taylor's study on The Color of Crime.

The tendency of any government to want to restrict firearms from the population is age-old. The ambition of men in power always heads in the direction of limiting or banning firearms ownership. Whatever race has to do with this in our historical experience, it would have been the case even if there were no minorities here. It is a right that freemen will ALWAYS have to fight for and sacrifice to protect.

That is probably true. One can almost surmise from that, that government creates an outlaw population in order to protect the people from it, thereby justifying its salary. How much quicker can you create an outlaw population than by passing laws and using force to deny a person the right to self-defense, in essence, denying them the right to life.

Many people will give up that right because life isn't that precious to them. They will be meat for the outlaw's table and not utter a peep. Worse, they will call for government to place further restrictions on weapons, falsely believing that outlaws obey the law.

So who profits from gun laws? Certainly not the people. Only the outlaws and government. They must be in cahoots.
