It's not slander, when it's true.

Maybe I'll start a separate folder and save these posts, so when people question it, I could just post the dozens of links, yes there were dozens, at least who preferred Kerry and actually said so.

I did save the links for a while of those who said they preferred Bustamante or Davis to Schwarzenegger, there were some of those at the time.

P.S. I didn't mention any specific names, because I don't remember, or even if I do, if I did mention names, without links to their actual posts expressing a preference for Kerry, THAT would not be fair.

Missouri and dana super trac pak,

I have seen the exact same words that FairOpinion has relayed to you both.

You have been given an almost word for word account of some of the statements made. As FairOpinion has posted, they did indeed say that the country needed to be destroyed in order to save it. ("They" means exactly that. It was more than one person that has said that.)

I did not bother to save any links either, especially since there have been posts in the thousands about the immigration issue.

So, I'm not willing to search through all of those posts to find them for you.

But I firmly stand behind Fairopinion on this.

Most of us were not there when those statements were made so look at it from our point of view, besides I said its probably true anyway since we all know that stupid statements are made here. I remember being raked over the coals for as a newbie over something similar.

Thank you, TexasFlower.

Sometimes it is hard to believe, but it's unfortunately true.

What is amazing the very people who want Kerry elected, to take revenge on Bush, act as if they are the "real" conservatives. How can someone call themselves a conservative, while preferring Kerry to Bush is totally beyond me.

Nobody aked you to.

The bottom line here is that Kerry is a lot worst on the immigration issue that President Bush and the more Kerry opens his mouth, the worst he sounds. I never once heard anybody say they'd vote for Kerry because President Bush has not enforced or immigration laws, but I'm sure somebody has. IMO, most freepers who are unhappy with GWBs performance on the illegal immigration problem will still be voting for him, maybe a few won't vote at all, and a few may vote for the Constitutional Party. That leaves only a handful of freepers who will be voting for Kerry and some of them may be embedded trolls or just nutcases.

I didn't mean to sound rude with that statement. What I meant to say is that there is no need to. I feel that we're kind of getting of the subject of the thread. Though I'll admit I am curious who those freepers are who will be voting for Kerry.

I'm sure we all can agree that Kerry is just trolling for votes in the homosexual community with this proposal and that it would hurt the rest of us who pay the taxes in this country.

It's inevitable. Unless one of the candidates does a 180 on immigration, you know as well as I do what it will come to in the end. Under Bush, it may happen slower, but it will still happen.

Don't worry about it. At first, it sounded a little harsh but then I re-read it and it made sense.

The context was pretty clear after I read what you had originally posted.

I think most of those who are planning to vote for Kerry are either just trying to get people riled up or they are sleeper trolls.

And yes, I agree that Kerry is just trolling for votes. He has no real sense of integrity or responsibility IMO.

You know, Bush is so far gone on immigration, so far to the left of most conservatives and most Americans that it wouldn't surprise me if he did eventually propose (or go along with) the same thing in the name of 'compassionate' conservatism. I don't think he'd be crazy enough to do it before getting a second term considering how conservatives wouldn't react so kindly to having to pull another knife from their back on this issue after Bush's poorly received amnesty/increase in legal immigration plan. But who knows about a second term?

I hope he and Karl Rove are not that arrogant.

It is time for us to face the facts. Conservatism is about the preservation of our nation, our way of life, and our values. Both parties are now content to whore all three out to stay in office and to appease those who contribute to their campaigns.

A lot of people dislike Pat Buchanan, but he may have been on to something when he said (I think it was last fall): "There is no conservative party in America."

Because the homo lobby is more powerful than you know. Don't you find it strange that we can't get 50 Senators to defend children against gay marriage ?

It's one thing though to try to help American victims of AIDS but even the homos must realize that funds are limited and importing many more cases of AIDS is just going to make it impossible to keep on doling out the big money it takes.
