Instead of ED drugs, maybe they oughta order a couple thousand cases of purple kool-aid instead.

So now is the Frenchman going to dump the Breck Girl? After all he is not officially nominated yet. Then again, neither is Ketchup Boy.

I certainly hope this is all true and not wishful thinking. I would like to know where those comments from Mellman came from. But I am very encouraged by the stories in today's Washington Post and New York Times. They gave at least equal weight to Bush's huge Pennsylvania rally and to the effectiveness of Bush's attack on Kerry's values as they did to Kerry's counterattack, which was weak. You can tell that even the Kerry cheerleaders know he lost this news cycle, and that the New York fundraiser has totally blown up in Kerry's face.
I also think the media totally underestimated the impact of Edward's fourth-most-liberal Senate ranking. Bush's line that "in Massachusetts, they call that balancing the ticket" is devastating. Kerry's people obviously thought they could pass Edwards off as a moderate, but Bush is not going to let them. This ticket should be dead as a doornail by September.

"This is gonna be fun to watch." Especially to see them self-consciously trying to avoid each other's body space. So they may keep at arm's length, but watch and see if they caress each other with their eyes. Gonna see a lot of fluttering eyelids, I'll bet.

I wonder if the Abu Ghraib prison photos will rival the Kerry-Edwards lovey dovey photos? Maybe we could see those every night on the news for two months? Hmmm?

As I read about some of the GOP ads that were run in the aftermath of the Edwards selection as VP candidate, I'm starting to get the sense that the Bush team is making a serious attempt to portray Kerry and Edwards as a pair of middle-aged homosexual men.
I know it sounds ridiculous, but it will all become clear when those two rush back to Washington to vote against a "protection of marriage" bill in the Senate sometime in the next couple of months. You can bet Mr. Frist is going to have that bill on the Senate floor for them to deal with.
