Aside from three months masquerading as a Swiftboat skipper ( Did you know John Kerry served in Viet Nam?), I don't recall ever reading that he has ever had a real job - unless you count stalking and marrying rich widows!
There's a story about Kerry ripping off a cookie franchiser as his foray into capitalism. Pretty funny stuff.
