It's much better to avoid put-downs over physical appearance, that is just too juvenile in a serious debate. If they want to talk about their hair and use gutter language and the media lets them get away with it...well, there isn't much we can do about it. But we sure don't need to join in! I have so many over-weight relatives and friends, it often is quite beyond them to lose it too. It is nice he loves her and apparently is faithful all these many years. That one aspect of Edwards I do respect. Not much else!

"Being a rich dem means never having to say you're sorry."
I think its:
Being a rich dem means thinking you never have to say you're sorry.
Its the raw arrogance that has reduced the Democrats to a Minority Party with shrinking membership.

Yep. I was trying out the catchphrases--and Elizabutt is the one. Wow! Whatta profile with her daughter in the photo a few posts back! That could be an anchor for the SSTennesee! Is that about seventy pounds too much, or eighty?
Since she thinks Woopi's "anger" is perfectly acceptable for her little angel's ears, why not "Elizabutt"--there's anger enough to go all around.

After sitting through the vulgar performance, Sen. Edwards told the crowd, "This campaign will be a celebration of real American values."
Yes... and I have some waterfront property in the Sahara to sell you....

(I was actually feeling bad that some were making fun of MS. Edwards on the NC board because I'm on the "fluffy" side myself. Ok Lizzie, the gloves are off now you HEIFER.
You wouldn't know American Values if they jumped up and hit you in your BIG FAT A$$!!!!)
ditto!

The wife of vice presidential hopeful John Edwards is defending Whoopi Goldberg
Of course she does. Mrs. Edwards is a lawyer.

Is it just me, or does anyone else say to themselves "What is John Edwards doing with a frump like that?".What should he do, leave her because she gained weight (probably after having kids)? This sort of criticism is not good, guys.
If there's something to admire about Edwards, it's that he didn't dump his wife (and kids) for a 115-pound model. He could have. And it appears that at least some of you think he should have. That does not speak well of you.

Hey Elizabeth - perhaps you should just shut the hell up, and leave the thinking to the adults.
Or, feel free to keep coming across as a dumbass and destroy your husband's career.
Your Call.

Fatso Lizzie. Lardbutt Lizzie.
While Mrs. Edwards struggles with weight (not a partisan issue if there ever
was one)...
the objectionable part of the lady is the lard between her ears.

"A lot of people are going to be angry - there's a lot to be angry about," she told reporters at a fundraising breakfast on Manhattan's West side. "It's a free country and people are going to express that anger."YEEEEEAGH!
This is right where we need them to be-angry, alienated losers.
Michael Moore-Howard Dean-Elizabeth Edwards.
Buh-bye!

Ridiculing a lawyer is like mugging a mugger. Can't find room in my conscience to worry about it, since Elizabutt is happy to defend crudity on First Amendment grounds.

--and I know that some of us cant drop the baby weight...
That doesn't look like "baby" weight to me.--
my "baby" is 11, and I still have some of the pounds I put on when I was pregnant.
I think her comments are disgusting, but we should not be harping on her weight (too much emphasis on weight these days) Lets attack her on her actions, not on her figure....

Is it just me, or does anyone else say to themselves "What is John Edwards doing with a frump like that?". Now this is not that that odd, because I have seen plenty of politicians, young and handsome, with very frumpy wives? What gives? Those are usually the ones that will stay with the philandering slimes. The better-looking ones are more prone to leave long before the pol makes the national spotlight.

Ok Lizzie, the gloves are off now you HEIFER. "You wouldn't know American Values if they jumped up and hit you in your BIG FAT A$$!!!!" OMG! lol Both of these 'women' are a bit on the frumpy side. Kerry's wife, Terayyyza, always has that mop of hers hanging in her face. It just goes to show you that money can't buy everything.

From someone who has been called a fatso and lardbutt most of his life I think we can find many ways to defend our side rather then resorting to the enemies ammo. Same goes for Moore.
