BUSH/CHENEY: 'We call on Kerry to release the video of this event' Fri Jul 09 2004 10:37:52 ET

WASHINGTON, DC -- Bush-Cheney '04 Campaign Manager Ken Mehlman issued the following statement on John Kerry's fundraiser last night.

"We have seen John Kerry take two positions on the most important issues facing our country. Now we see him take two sets of positions on his own values.

"If John Kerry is going to praise last night's star-studded hate fest, and characterize it as the 'heart and soul' of America, he should share these values with voters everywhere.

"We call on Kerry to release the video of this event so that all Americans can see what John Kerry has called America's 'heart and soul.'"

It was a repeat of the Paul Wellstone Memorial service.

Slick willie had one of these too. A birthday bash with Robin Williams using the most foul language known to man.

The dems are so deep into the sewer it doesn't bother them a bit.

He didn't have time for the terror briefing offered him be Sec. Ridge.

Hadn't heard that. Almost glad I didn't. Now that I do, my blood is boiling. What a pathetic POS... and he wants to be POTUS and CIC?!?!?! If he gets into the Oval Office, there will be American blood in the streets all across America within weeks of his inauguration.

Shades of the Clinton era. I feel oddly confident that the Clinton era has become passe, and Kerry is sinking deeper and faster each day. (bottom-feeder that he is.)

"Edwards said it was "a great honor" to be there and insisted, "This campaign will be a celebration of real American values."

Thanks for the stories; almost too painful to read.

Surely Edwards says it all, for the 'Progressive Democrats'. . .

Don't see why some of these quotes could not be articulated or just scrolled with someone quoting Edwards synopsis on 'values' for campaign ad. . .

Let me guess, a bunch of ignorant, uneducated, wealthy, celebrity types bashing bush?

Better than that - they're doing what they do best: Throwing a bunch of money down the drain and feelin' good about it...

I was saddened to see John Fogerty's name on the list of entertainers taking part in this hate-fest. I knew he was anti-war, but I didn't think it was this blatant.

I have a ticket to his concert next week in Omaha. What should I do with it, Freepers? Looking for some good suggestions...

>Excellent. But is the mainstream (liberal) media >listening? Will they report this?

Nope. It will be a miracle if Bush/Cheney get elected with the media only reporting negative for Bush and positive for Kerry. Maybe Kerry was born under a lucky star or something, I mean two ridiculously wealthy wives, a job that you don't actually have to DO. Jeez, where can I sign up for HIS "America"?

The comic said concert organizers had asked to see her material beforehand but she sent them a photocopied image of her behind with a kissmark on it. "I wasn't sure I was going to get the phone call," she said.

So, how long until some enterprising e-bayer puts up The Kissy Sheet?

I agree -- I don't see them standing in line to donate their excess to the government.

The stuff last night closely resembles what is on Howard Stern every day. All the filth was directed at the president.

Hey, remember it was Rosie O'Donnell who said "Bob Dole sucks", and look where she is today...

The registration booth for "HIS America" is way out in left field in the parallel universe known as Celebrityville where the hair is great and the values are...well, there aren't any values.

Kind'a like when pigs fly. Bet you won't hold your breath for them to start either. They all have to have their private jets, yachts, multi million dollar homes (more than one at that) and several gas guzzlers. They are one sick bunch of losers.

Three birds. It shows the distinction between them and Main Street America.

Kerry and Edwards have more in common with the rich and lascivious, than with common law-abiding Americans. Kerry and Edwards are as out-of-touch with America as the people they were partying with last night.

They cannot represent the heartland if what they believe is the "heart and soul" of America are potty-mouth multimillionaires who pretend for a living.
