After being inundated with calls from L.A. listeners, Asa Hutchinson has agreed to go on the show. He's on right now, so be there or be square. Will try to type the good stuff while I listen.

"...far more money than the American People are at present willing to spend on this..." Where are you getting this stuff from?
Was there a National referendum on how much the American People were willing to spend on illegal immigration and nobody was told?!!
We could spend $27 to $90 billion dollars each year and still save money depending on if you ask FAIR, the C.I.S. or Dr. Hubble!
Who you trying to kid this 'Ground Hog Day'?
LOL!

Your Feinsstein/Boxer like hissing doesn't intimidate me one bit, fluffy.Hey dude, no one likes Feinstein and Boxer. John and Ken have most definitely mentioned them on occasion. Right now the hot issue is illegal immigrants. Duhhhh, we know that those two will vote for anything that buries us, including amnesty and drivers licenses.
Be nice. You really don't want to get into a hissing contest with me. I'm in a mood, and you're posts are really starting to get on my last nerve...

Even FAA rules state 12 hours bottle to throttle.
Drinking and flying eventually will guarantee a dead pilot.

If this was going down on Clintons watch, bet the rent, they'd be the one's screaming the loudest. Ya think? But this is just strategery, right?

I listen to John and Ken a lot, although not this program. And I know they don't know much except how to emote, rather than how to surgically get at the root cause.
John and Ken were among lead surgeons in removing Gray Davis and defeating SB60. Harrassing on the streets those here who are de facto allowed to work, and causing them to go underground, and withdraw from the city lights, and withdraw their kids from living a normal life, sort of, is cruel and unusual. I want no part of it, and will oppose it.
You and I know that the purpose of the sweeps is to persuade the Illegals to return home. You and I also both know that the carrot to that stick is a legitimate guest worker program which requires applicants to apply from the nation of origin. So, you and I both also know that the appropriate application of that stick and that carrot is neither cruel nor unusual. In fact, the stick alone is not cruel nor unusual since the Historically and internationally accepted consequence for Illegal Alien foreign nationals is deportation.

John and Ken were among lead surgeons in removing Gray Davis and defeating SB60. Yup, they were key in helping orchestrate the historical recall effort. No doubt about it.

All we really need to do is apply the mexican law to the illegals here.
If an american is caught working in Mexico without a work permit, which is extremely dificult to obtain, you go to prison and are then deported and never allowed to return to Mexico in your lifetime.

Having sweeps of the streets while allowing defacto illegal employment is quite an insane policy. It is sort of like allowing a liver transplant to a wet alcoholic. The side effects are not worth the candle. It is a policy doomed to political failure, and indeed an adoption of almost everything that you abhor. It is the road to defacto, indeed in time de jure, open borders. You need to rethink this one. We want he same ends, but simply don't agree at all on the means, or the moral aspects of harassing in their daily lives those allowed to work illegally defacto.

There's really little comparison between the two styles of interviewing, preferences aside.
The John and Ken Show is a live radio show. The interviews we hear are complete and unedited. The radio hosts often dominate the conversation.
Moore's interviews are wholly edited and rearranged to mislead. Moore rarely dominates the conversation and leaves the subject to do most of the talking after some leading questions.

"...Customs doesn't want anything to do with illegal aliens." Bush, Rove, Hutchinson, Ridge, Aguirre (the ex-Cuban banker) will dead-end their careers, deader than a doornail, for having something/anything to do with illegal aliens.
Talk about a '3rd rail' over at Customs or in any other agency under this administration.
If Bush catches anybody doing anything effective, like interior sweeps, they'll get crushed like bugs.

John and Ken were not so much surgeons when it came to Davis, but rather more like that wood chucking guy in the movie Fargo. There just drew, quartered, and then eighthed, with joyous abandon. Davis was simply that target rich an environment.

That's not the policy supported by John and Ken, so what's your point? John pressed Hutchison a dozen times this afternoon about Illegal employer sanctions against lawbreakers in CA, and Asa dodged every time. You need to rethink this one. We want he same ends, but simply don't agree at all on the means, or the moral aspects of harassing in their daily lives those allowed to work illegally defacto.
Have you missed that many of my posts? As always, I support a Tancredo-style guest worker program which would require applications from the nation of origin. For further incentive, those Illegals now here who don't leave voluntarily would have the option of leaving the other way.

Regardless Torie, during drive time, millions tuned in, and many others followed. They brought it to the forefront, and were key to the Davis political hanging, when they could have been talking about meaningless, utter garbage. They had on some of Davis backers on and make *complete* utter fools of them in front of millions. I'll never forget it. They were key regardless of style....

Well, let me make this clear. I oppose sweep of the streets, and support employer sanctions, and national ID cards. Thus I oppose both yours and John and Ken's sweep of the streets policy, period, except in certain selected instances. I think the John, Ken and Saber trio sweep policy will backfire and be counterproductive, and lead to open borders. Of course it will never happen in any event. Only the demonizing of those evil employers of illegals will have any hope of gaining real political traction.
And there you have it.
