Best not to get around it. And when alcohol is involved, the rates skyrocket. That's a separate rider on the policy. Though I wouldn't hold another "Beef and Beer" by the pool for the state legislators without it.
Ultimately, our church carnaval had to drop the clam bar because we couldn't serve beer because the insurance was too high, also, it was an embarassment to the public to only see our parish council when they were trashed.
