I was just watching Brit Hume's Special Report, and they highlighted Edwards' outright lies... They showed taped segments where Edwards is on video being a hawk on Iraq, saying that Saddam is an IMMINENT threat (President Bush and Cheney never even said that), said that he would go into Iraq WITHOUT U.N support, said that the DEMS were NOT misled about the intelligence reports, etc etc etc...
When Democratic party leaders were challenged on that, they said the real issue is that SKerry is at the top of the ticket, and HIS policies (whatever the hell THEY are) will be implemented, and Edwards' views are not significant.
What a load of BS!!!
Someone should put out commercials calling them the flip-flop team, with video footage of both of these scumbags lying out of both sides of their mouth...
As a side note, SKumbag SKerry was trying to be cute, saying that he wanted to send Edwards' 2 kids down to Palm Beach, and teach the Republican vote counters how to count (of course he failed to mention that most of them were Dems). He also said that every single vote in Florida will count... No matter what system is used, there will be votes not counted... period. What a SCUM.
I used to like Breaux - but now I just feel a huge sense of relief that he's not Kerry's running mate.

I heard last night that Lindsay Graham was also born in Seneca, SC, two years after Edwards. I've never heard the media gush about Lindsay Graham coming from poverty, and getting into law through the military.

Shelby could have been stronger on the WMD issue, but otherwise he did fine--from what I saw. My tv comes through the computer in here so when I crashed I lost the tv, too. I'm back up---for now.
I heard Lindsay Graham yesterday on the matter of Edwards. He was at his best.
He made the point that Edwards likes to say his dad worked in a mill and Lindsay said the dad was in management (which we knew, but he was on tv saying it where others could hear it) and Graham said that was fine--he was sure Edwards' dad worked hard, just like the mill workers all worked hard and we all work hard. Graham then said the worst thing for the American people would be a Kerry/Edwards administration and he proceeded to expound upon why (taxes, litigation, etc).
As I said, he was at his best, as he was during impeachment (and he can be bad, like hopping on the prison abuse bandwagon).
No matter what, they'll still be looking for the God Brick Road.
Yeah, that's what's missing from the Kerry/Edwards ticket, Austin Powers!
