Something to Yak About John-John Opposed Tax Relief Before They Supported It Veep Choice Reflects on Kerrys Judgment Kerry Pick Lacks Balance, Experience Good Gets Talkers Profile USA Radio Network News The Final Yak
In the words of Gomer Pyle, Surprise, surprise, surprise! John Kerry and John Edwards are stumping the battlegrounds in tandem with promises of not raising taxes on Middle America. So how is it these two better hair guys came to now support the tax relief they both voted against while in the Senate? A Road to Damascus conversion? Political expediency? Just another flip-flop? The Damascus theory is a bit thin, folks. This just doesnt pass the smell test.
John Kerry told the nation that he was looking for a running mate with strong leadership credentials and the ability to step up to the plate if necessary. But it looks like Kerrys choice of John Edwards is just another flip-flop. The Fort Wayne News-Sentinel says of Edwards, Voters ought to feel a bit uneasy. It seems that Edwards has spent his life learning how to campaign more than how to govern. Another item goes a bit farther, calling Kerrys choice of Edwards, another broken promise. Ouch!
John Kerrys pick of John Edwards as a running mate begs the question, why would Kerry choose a veep whos never been the lead sponsor on a bill thats even made it out of committee and didnt know who Yitzak Rabin is? Inquiring minds want to know and so does The Florida Times-Union, which also notes, While Kerry is from the North and Edwards is nominally from the South, there is absolutely no philosophical balance. National Journal says Kerry is the most liberal U.S. senator; Edwards is the fourth-most liberal.

Edwards says he's the only one who can win states in the South ... He can't win his own state." (SOURCE: John Kerry, quoted by The New York Times, 2/3/04)
John and John..... A double flusher.
Why would men who fly their own haridresser around the country with them want to vote for tax relief for families?
