Lily-White Democrat Ticket Angers Black Activists

The Democrat establishment loves to talk about "diversity," but its failure to practice what it preaches has black activists threatening to flee the party's plantation.

"Minority activists are unimpressed with the Democrats' new middle-aged-white-guys presidential ticket," the Boston Herald reported today.

"From city councilors to clergy, black community leaders charge that Sen. John F. Kerry's choice of Sen. John Edwards as a running mate fails to diversify the ticket ... ."

The black vote is "wide open," said the Rev. Eugene Rivers of National Ten Point Leadership Foundation.

"If Karl Rove makes a decision to mount a serious bid with a real proposal for the cities, we could see some de-alignments and realignments," he told the Herald. Kerry and Edwards have failed to make an "intellectually credible" case for the minority vote, he said.

Democrats' 'Terrorist Attacks' on Blacks

The Rev. Wayne Perryman says blacks should have given condescending, exploitative and vicious Democrats the boot long ago.

"For 150 years blacks were victims of terrorist attacks by the Democrats and their Klan supporters, including lynchings, beatings, rapes and mutilations," he writes in "Unfounded Loyalty: An In-depth Look Into the Blind Love Affair Between Blacks and Democrats."

Note that the only known ex-Klansman on Capitol Hill is Democrat Sen. Robert Byrd of West Virginia.

The Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson, head of Brotherhood Organization of a New Destiny and author of "Scam: How the Black Leadership Exploits Black America," has long exposed the unsavory ties between the Democrat establishment and the likes of Jesse "Shakedown" Jackson.

As for the nation's largest ethnic minority, Latino activists are upset that Kerry didn't tap New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson to be his running mate. It was so embarrassingly obvious Richardson was out of consideration that, in a pre-emptive strike last week, he stage a sour-grapes photo op to announce he didn't want the job ... a claim he had already been uttering for weeks.

Edwards is even whiter than Kerry.

But that's mostly because the JoKer is transparent and you can almost see that blue blood of his.

>>Democrats don't think Blacks are whole people. They consider Blacks and other ethnicities as a very important fixture for their power..

I'd go further. If black support fell away, the Democratic party would collapse completely. And this happy eventuality is possible, if only the Republicans would devote enough energy to a campaign for black votes. After all, the facts are on our side.

Younger generation of blacks born after Civil Rights Act are predominantly independent, while the older blacks are solid Democrats. The only way the Dems got the black independents to vote for them is by playing the race card and appealing to the ethnic tribalism that exists within the black community. Nothing new in US history. The Irish was the same way until the younger generation left their communities and settled elsewhere and discovered that Catholics are not being held back in a country dominated by Protestant and English speaking.

The black vote is "wide open," said the Rev. Eugene Rivers of National Ten Point Leadership Foundation.

Oh, right. Kerry and Edwards could dress up in sheets and lynch a black man every day between here and the election, and they'd still get 93 percent of the black vote. You can count on it. That's because black folks know that the Democrats care about them.

"... it is beyond me how any thinking Black American could POSSIBLY vote Democratic."

The operative word is "thinking"....

"They really do think people are stupid."

Given that "people" elected the Klintons -- not once, but twice -- the Johns see things as they really are....

Haven't they figured out that the democratic party is about making the minority voters dependant. That is the purpose of the black and hispanic vote for them. One day they will realize that.

It sounds as though a "minority" of the minorities that have made the bulk of the Dem supporters are finally starting to "get it".

But, I doubt that the majority of Dem minorities will ever understand that they have been played by the Dems for decades. That's what makes them all progressive intellectuals.

I don't know if I'd consider Kerry middle aged... I think once you get over 60 you're treading dangerously close to O-L-D.

Maybe that could be their new slogan.

"The Democratic Party - We Count On Your Stupidity."

I think "D" levers and "R" levers should be illegal. Candidates should be placed randomly on voting machines. A lot of people walk into a voting booth without a clue who the candidates are or what their positions are. Voters who can't be bothered to locate and vote specifically for each individual candidate they choose, shouldn't be helped along in their laziness and ignorance by straight party ticket gadgets.

Oh yeah...they're so angry at this diverse duo of white liberal multimillionaire Johns that they'll only give them 97% of the black vote. Some people never learn.

I think "D" levers and "R" levers should be illegal. Candidates should be placed randomly on voting machines.

And that, would be the end of the democrap party.  The typical D voter wouldn't even take the time to look for a D or an R by the name and they sure don't know any of the candidates or issues.
