BTW...while yankhater is a scholar of the CivilWar, he is far from a "yankhater"...I've read some of the most balanced analyses of Union/Reb scraps from him than just about anybody. YH knows his SouthernLit, too...ask him about Faulkner sometime.

Oh, I figured he wasn't a real yank hater, but I figured there's no better tribute for a person who respects Confederate heritage than a shout out from the spirit of the 20th Maine Volunteer Regiment.
