You gave up your wife for HER!? I don't know what to do in this case... root for you to spite the French, or root against you because of your taste in women. :-Þ

Oh, it's so. She set out to break his family and he complied, leaving his wife for...for...her. All she wants to do is have some fun.

From what I'm hearing, it was more of a 50-50 deal than "he dumped her" or "she dumped him". Lance is kind of an obsessive guy - you'd have to be to stay at this level of training for years and years. That and all the media attention got to be more than she wanted to live with. And he didn't want to give up his goal.

This might account for some anti-war comments attributed to Ol Lance.

Yeah, she (wife) is alone with the kids the majority of the time. He wasn't sure of going for a fifth, but did. He told her it would be his last. After he won, he decided to do it again. That was a deal breaker for her. That is my understanding.

Though war was the answer when Clinton was president and she would go and entertain the troops.
