She said that once other lawyers started telling their tales of Edwards, he would be hurting. She said he was known throughout their community as an ambulance chaser and a sleeze!! That's what I'm hearing, too; I have been a court reporter since 1980, involved in a lot of high profile cases here in North Carolina; I'd never heard of this guy until he ran in 1998 for the Senate.
My in-laws live in NC and can't stand Edwards! He was a one term politician and won't carry NC....they already know what damage he can do!
