Oh, practising law is alright, but just don't go to trial?
So, don't file suits against businesses, only governments, quasi-governments, and private individuals?
Did you think that the defense of such Constitutional rights aswe have left remaining to us, is an entirely appellate process?

Anne Coulter is a smart lawyer girl, but the convenience of linking the perennial issue of tort "re-form" and JFn Kerry's VP pick seems too easy, and feels rather alienating to the legal profession as a whole, and to individual lawyers, such as myself, who disdain trials but prepare for them like warfare.
Please reconsider and evaluate the benefit which lawyers make available to you everyday, so that my career choice may be fully justified in the eyes of both man and God.
