Maybe Geragos needed the extra time to have someone clue him in on what to do next. Incredible that the whole trial was halted for the funeral of a NON-RELATIVE. Since Scott has more than one lawyer, couldn't the other one have handled the case for one day?

Yeah, WHY couldn't Harris have carried on??? This was a mistake by the Judge imo. However, Geragos is the lead Attorney and I don't suppose he wants to miss "any" of the witnesses at this point. The witnesses appear to be becoming more and more important to the heart of this case.
