Larry Elder is a very bright man (though I guess he's not so young anymore),

*** WABC used to broadcast his show but cancelled it. He wrote a good book called Ten Things You Can't Say in America.

They cancelled him? I'm surprised. I thought he was very popular, though maybe moreso in California. I know of his book, though I haven't yet read it. I saw him on the Jay Leno Show a couple of years ago. Leno introduced him with, "Nodody'll have this guy on," and then gave him the bum's rush after about 90 seconds. And Elder saw it coming! Never in my life, have I seen a late night (or day time, for that matter) talk show guest talksofast! He was in fast forward. I hope he's still broadcasting in California.

Elder is a classic case of the power of talk radio and the Internet. Considering the establishment media freeze-out of him, not only would his book not have been a bestseller in the world before those two institutions arose, but I doubt anyone would even have published it.
