Good summation of the ambulance-chasing empty suit with a blow dryer, otherwise known as a man who should be a heartbeat away from the Oval Office by the Michael Moore crowd.

Ah...but the flaw is believing that a significant number of them vote at all.

They don't.

Just a note: Has anybody else noticed a very distinct, "oh-okay-he'll-do-I-guess", yawn coming from the world today regarding Kerry's selection of Edwards? There's simply no pronounced reaction from any direction. It's just no big deal. Kerry is toast.

Yes, they historically have not voted, perhaps that trend will continue. I just believe that we will see an upward trend there this year. One of my brothers fits that mold, a slacker who used to walk around carrying a Che backpack, never voted, etc. Well, he registered to vote this year for the first time ever, as have about 10 of his liberal friends.

The propaganda machine they've got up and running is working.

"But as a Christian, the sheer godlessness of the DU types sickens me. If the Dems win, so has gay marriage. And what is next ? "Transgenerational love" ? Group marriage ? These people are foaming at the mouth with eagerness to tax churches and silence the Christian voice. As a Christian, I cannot let these people win. I cannot let America be turned into a San Francisco toilet. If the Dems lose, let them know that gay marriage was the reason why."

You are ABSOLUTELY on-TARGET! As a network engineer who was also out of work for 14 months, I look around the NYC tri-state area and see foreigners from China, India, Pakistan, etc. working for 1/4 of the salary (I was making) and many of my fellow engineers have left the industry because of overseas out-sourcing.

But the second front in this election is the battle for the SOUL of America. Every nation at the zenith of power is taken down from within. The march towards a secular state is now at a full run by those on the left. The de-Christianization of America by the hate-triots who despise our culture, our values, our traditions, and anything Western is PC and the rage.

And the problem has been that those of us who embrace Christ have NOT evangelized the gospel, have NOT exhibited the example of Christ, and have failed to convince many of our apathetic bretheren to vote - especially those from minority churches. Believers who are black vote almost exclusively democratic, even though it is the party of murder of the unborn, homosexual/bisexual/transgender (and soon to be pedophilia) rights (same-sex marriage), anti-Christianity, euthanasia, and so on.

In 40 years the issues of taxes, wars, the economy, Social Security, etc. will pale in comparison to the destruction of the moral compass of our nation. Conservative Jews and Christians need to unite and demonstrate a passion for our cause. Failure to do so will dishonor all those Americans and patriots who have paid with their own lives.

More than President Bush - I believe we need a Burning Bush to reveal the greater purpose and cause for which we strive: the future heritage of our land depends on it.

Horsecrap. One does not have to have a college degree to understand elementary economic theory and the results of moving against it. Nor is it true that there has been "deindustrialization" taking place. What is mistakenly called that is a typical result of the Trade Cycle in international economics. Our job in America is to create the New and watch as the Old gets exported to other countries which are not so creative.

Anyone can read history and understand that no economy can stand still, cordon itself off from the rest of the world, or expect to have the same jobs forever. Once when things moved slowly that might have been possible but now that they move with incredible rapidity it isn't.

Forces beyond any real human control move history and the economy and do not always result in everyone being satisfied or treated satisfactorily. Though it is difficult to look with objectivity through pain one sometimes must confront change which is beneficial to the whole but not the individual.

When workers making buggies were put out of work by automobiles they were not happy nor considered themselves treated fairly but what could have been done? Prohibit the production of cars? Would that have benifitted anyone?

None of us here who support free trade believe that those who lose by global economic actions are "subhuman" at all merely unlucky. Almost all are sorry to hear of their suffering but we don't believe that that suffering can be easily eliminated by imposing an equal or greater amount upon others.
