This man needs to be off the air. I'm ashamed that Fox News has rescued him from his well-deserved obscurity.
He's the vile one who makes James Carville sound like a southern gentleman. He actively tried to flip electors in December of 2000 in favor of Gore. He's been out of commission for awhile because of a venal act that backfired.
Why would anyone listen to an old fool who gets blackmailed by a $1,200 hooker whom he brings to his home, bragging about how important he is. Smart way to impress the help by giving them ideas about your financial capacity. Then he is so afraid of the hooker and her pimp, who hit him up for $50,000, that he reports it to the police!
Bob Beckel is an especially nasty democrat political operative. He shows his face in public because he has no shame. Fox should take after his ex-wife who dumped him with prejudice after this episode and dump him immediately.

I think so but I'm not sure about that--he did pay her thousands of dollars for what sounded like cursory lip service. It was a real comedy except for the idiot Beckel and his unfortunate wife.

This seems like a good place to enter the conversation. For years, television sought out the most unappealing republican spokesmen they could find; they then had them on each time there was an issue about which they wanted to appear to be fair.
What is wrong with allowing the left wingers most unappealing spokespersons to shoot themselves in the feet? It sounds like a carefully thought out plan to me.
