Ol' Eyebrows didn't run for another term because he is now very, very beatable in the 3rd, probably wouldn't even be the favourite if the 'Pubbies would back a decent canidate (for instance, Kathy Enz, who got w/in 7% last time with NO, zero party support). The North Carolina residence, his real home, has caught up with him BIGtime, and the lower half of his carefully gerrymandered district has seen a significant demographic shift.
