She misses the point. This isn't a divorce, it's criminal court.
Even for criminals I'm in favour of compassion, WHERE APPROPRIATE. This guy is obviously a dangerous, violent criminal and a poor flight risk. The judge is an idiot, or at least has incredibly poor judgement (which for a JUDGE is a bad thing, I think).
