Who in Missouri likes Gephardt besides St. Louis County? I'm from Southeast, MO. Missouri will be in the Republican lineup. Then again, we did elect Carnahan statewide twice. But I doubt Dick could win a statewide race in MO.
Gephardts 3rd District has been manufactured (gerrymandered) over the years to keep him in office. Even with that, he's never gotten over 60% of the vote I believe.
Up here in Northwest St. Louis County, we went from Todd Akins (good republican) 2nd District to Lacy Clays (bad democrat) 1st District because of Dick Gephardts re-districting plan. To bad none of the Republican Representatives fought this except Akin.
