Thank you, from our house as well!
God bless our wonderful Polish allies!
Thanks for the thread, here's some additional info on Pulaski.
Talk about respect. After Washington, Franklin and Jefferson, more counties, cities and streets are named "Pulaski" in the US than any other Revolutionary War figure. In Illinois, Pulaski's birthday is a state holiday.
Thank you, anonymoussierra, and many thanks to your brave and steadfast countrymen. You are much appreciated.
Polonia Semper Fidelis!
Sic Semper Tyrannis!
Veritas Vos Liberabit!
What a gift so long ago, and just when a fledgling America needed every friend she could get. He was indeed a brave man from a brave country, a patriot in every sense of the word. We in America are honored by his service and his burial here. Thank you, Poland, for being our friend back then and holding fast now.
Thank you Polaks, for all your help in winning our Independence.
"Pulaski and Kosciuszko were but the most famous of the many Poles who fought in this war and helped win the independence of the United States. Some, like them, came to America during the Revolution "with the sole purpose of fighting on the side of the ideals of liberty and justice." Others had settled in America prior to the war and were of Polish descent. Their identities and numbers are impossible to determine with any degree of certainty."

and yet, I can't put my finger on it, but you seem very familiar.
why is that?
It seems to me I've heard this song before...
what is hard to learn in articles to post.
It's odd. Dunno, I think I smell a rat. Or something.
Is that what you're saying?
I'm glad I'm not alone in my wild guess.
Some people use FreeRepublic as their own little psychosocial laboratory.
Creepy, freaky, and sad.
well, call me a paranoid cynical hole-poking FReeper, but it just seems a bit fishy to me.
Lonevoice, too funny. Now I'm rolling on the floor. LOL.
And a Happy Independance Day to BogdanPolska12...wherever he may be.
