Washington, DC, Jul. 2 (UPI) -- Federal agents have searched the Institute for Islamic and Arabic Sciences in America, a Virginia Muslim school with alleged terrorist ties.

The Washington Times reported Friday that FBI, Internal Revenue Service and the Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents swarmed the Fairfax County school Thursday morning, conducted searches and interviewed staffers from the school.

The FBI and ICE have refused to disclose the nature of the search warrant served, but the school is affiliated with a Saudi Arabian university and has a history of scrutiny from U.S. officials.

Sixteen individuals from the institute were deported from the United States in January following the State Department's discovery that while possessing Saudi diplomatic credentials, they were instead working for the school.

Although the institute denounced the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks and the Wahabbi school of Islamic teachings, considered a leading influence linking Islamic fundamentalism and terrorist practices, it remains a focus of inquiry for potential ties to terrorist activity.

For instance, one of the men deported was reportedly teaching Wahabbism at the school.

In addition, the IRS and the Senate Finance Committee, has requested the institute's tax records to examine them for possible links to international terrorist groups.

There were several here (you?) who were going to drive by and see what was going on Friday. Seems the FBI had it roped off and FOX was covering it. So, VA Freepers, any updates?

Yeah, now they'll have to raid two Catholic schools and a Jewish temple school, to be fully PC and prove they aren't "racial profiling".

I wish they would just throw all of these known jihadists out of our country.

...and confiscate their bank accounts, deport their families, burn down their houses and businesses, and then really get started with some aggressive tactics.

"I wish they would just throw all of these known jihadists out of our country."

A couple of other options.

1. Arrest, try, sentence them. (THE USSC isn't much help on this)

2. Killum. Avoids the legal issues. Prevents them from continuing their quest from abroad.

For some reason I had humorous visions of Sgt Shultz searching Stallak 13 (sp?)
