As it has been pointed out many times, it takes just a small amount of money (relative to its nominal size) to manipulate the equity market. One need only have deep pockets, and be an aggressive seller of equity futures or equity futures options to move the market significantly. The timing of this manipulation is critical. The question is, whether displacing the market this way can be sustained. Also, I'm sure that there are forces on the other side that will try to stabilize the market between now and November. I also think that a terrorist attack may come through the financial markets. In this case, Soros and Al Qaeda would be working in concert to defeat Bush, as well as polarize the "investor class" against capitalist institutions. I'm not implying that they are conspiring, just that they have similar goals and might use the same methods. But, on the other hand, remember this crash that never was?

I completely agree.

Hillry is a manipulator of all things to her benefit. How successful or damaging she will be is the question.

Hillry sat atop the world for 8 years as co-president and her goal is to regain that position all to herself, "whatever it takes".
