I'm getting fed up with MS, too. However, I'm not going Mac. So, I guess, when I get my new computer, I'll get make it duel boot-- XP and Lindows. (maybe)

That duel booting sounds dangerous.

Did that a few months ago - and regret it. Lindows sucks IMHO.

Perhaps some one else will suggest some other flavor of Linux for you. I'm sticking with Win2K and OS X...
