With over a dozen people in attendance for the initial meeting, the Young Republicans are building a solid club focused on helping to elect as many Republicans as possibleWell good luck to you. I do have a question though. Will your group have a set standard by which they will support a Republican (i.e. level of actual conservative thought and action, even if said action stands in opposition to national groups, organizations, or branches of the national government)? Or do they just have to have a R by their name?
I hope it will be the former as we have much too much of the latter...

All the best to you and the other young Republicans. The clubs in CA are doing really well especially with help from a LA radio personality who is very popular...Al Rantel on 790. He actually did a fund raiser for the California College Republicans at a UCLA event(very liberal school) and helped them to raise $40,000...amazing. Suggest you locate the most conservative local personality and get on the radio...all us ole folks love to support the youngsters if they're going in the right direction! Hope this helps. Happy 4th of July and God Bless America. Oh...one more thing...the college R's are going to every event possible for voter registration. That's another way to get noticed by interested young Republicans and their parents. Call Sean Hannity's show...he loves activists!
