Unfortunately, you can't say that in Sweden and give us a few years under leftist domination in this country, and we'll be tossing people who express true opinions into dungeons with greater frequency.
The suicide rate in Sweden is the highest in Europe and one can't help but wonder if the large gaggle of homosexuals are the ones offing themselves.
If you consider that homosexuality, especially among males, is often found to co-exist with a poor relationship between father and son and what other effects such a poor relationship with a parent can have, this is very possible. It's also worth noting that there seem to be (read: I've not done any formal research nor read any) an unrepresentatively large percentage of persons who self-injure who are also homosexuals, especially lesbians. (Although, you will find that most information on self-injury conviently doesn't seem to mention homosexuality.)

I don't agree. I am not a religious person, and I regard homosexuality as an abnormality that will continue to occur in human beings as long as we are around. I think a young person with yearnings in that direction would be wise to try straight life first. In the meantime they shouldn't overdose on shame.
While I believe religions are free to preach that homosexuality is a vile sin or whatever, I favor tolerance. Anyone who attacks someone on the basis of their real or apparent homosexuality, of course, has committed assault. I am adamantly opposed to government creating gay marriage.
