Wisconsin On Bush & Iraq
July 2, 2004
A new poll released Friday says three in five Wisconsin residents think President Bush's performance in handling the situation in Iraq is "poor" to "fair."
The Badger Poll says 39%, or just under two in five residents, rated his performance on Iraq as "good" or "excellent." The president was rated at 54% with good or excellent marks for handling the war on terrorism, while 24% rated his performance as poor to fair.
The poll was conducted the week before the transfer of sovereignty to the Iraqis. The poll involved 504 Wisconsin residents, and was funded jointly by the Madison Capital Times and Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel newspapers.

Who wants to bet the people polled were in the most RAT infested parts of Milwaukee & Madison.
I was thinking Madison... They hit the college campus, no question.
what percentage would say fair to good? Probably over 60%.
I all depends on how you spin it.
Polled in Madislov and Milwaukistok no doubt
Hell, I support Bush, and the war in Iraq. However, I wouldn't rate his performance in handling the situation in Iraq as as "good" or "excellent" either. The foreign jihad-happy terrorists now plying their trade in Iraq suggests that no one is minding the borders.
Same goes for Afghanistan. If, instead of chasing OBL through the mountains and out to Pakistan, we had chased him back into an ambush in Afghanistan, he might now be in custody.
What's really important to Wisconsin residents

Yes = 68%
No = 14%
Kerry = 17%
WTF? = 1% (A southern transplant)
I'm posting this from my office in Madison Wisconsin. A quick poll of the 32 employees here shows 32 people in favor of Bush's performance, and all felt that the war in Iraq was just and necessary! BTW - I did make sure that they all saw the thank you ad in yesterday's USA Today!
