You don't need to pull them off the screen - just turn it off, or change the channel - they'll go off the screen automatically.
They MIGHT stick in your mind, though. If this is a problem, consult a qualified psychiatrist.
Bring the page you want up, hit the print screen button. Open a paint program or photoshop(something like that), then create a new document and past your print screen in. You can then crop out what you want. It comes out low resolution, but you get the image.
