No--being a member of the tribe guarantees nothing. And, I certainly have known plenty of Jews in my time who were not the sharpest knives in the drawer. But, whatever the talents needed for success in certain areas, my brethren and sisters tend to do well. My hunch is that it is the uncanny ability to know what will be hot six months down the road.
