I went to the local Borders (Oakland CA) today - asked if they had it - the manager almost lost it when I told him the title - he was amazed when it showed up on the computer. They had 12 on order (for a month). So I ordered an additional copy - I have no intention of buying it when it comes in.

That is dishonest. You should buy it or cancel the order. We should not stoop to dishonesty as a tactic. That belongs to the democrats.

If we don't buy this book, it goes on the shelf for every other shopper to see and possibly buy like all the other books in inventory. What's wrong with that?
I like to dig books like this out of their hiding places and move a few to the new releases spot by the front door.
