"I am Saddam Hussein, the president of the Republic of Iraq," the unrepentant former dictator told a special tribunal convened to try the top dozen members of his former regime.

BWAAHAHAHAHAHAHA! While you've been holed up (and I know where it is...), Iraq has become a free and sovereign nation, Saddam.

Swing, baby, swing!

{SNAP!}

He said President Bush was the "real criminal."

Echoing the sentiments of the liberals who embolden him.

National Stadium in Baghdad will seat 90,000 spectators. I would expect ticket sales to be brisk. With proceeds from that, concessions and spin-off products like videos, Saddam's execution could give the local economy a big boost -- especially if he were given a sporting chance to hold off his executioners long enough for sponsors to get their ad spots in. I'd buy a keychain and maybe a Saddam head ashtray, depending how realistically crafted it was.
