Its been almost 3 years since 9/11/01, so why are the borders not yet secured? There is little doubt in my mind the next terrorist will slip in over the Mexican border.

I posted this the other day on another thread, I think I will repost it here (re: Shukrijumah AKA "Jaffar the Pilot")
Shukrijumah, it appears, is also connected to Aafia Siddiqui (the supposed chem weapon expert and also one of the 7 the feds are looking for) who is in turn connected to Khalid Sheikh Mohammad. I just came up with this info...
"Remember: Khalid Mohammed, who told authorities about microbiologist Aafia, had anthrax production documents on his laptop. She was associated with "Jaffar the Pilot" who is at large. Authorities have said that a Pakistani scientist, who they refuse to name, was helping Al Qaeda with its anthrax production program. Don't get lazy in your thinking and assume away a possible critical lead. And don't fail to imagine the possible scenarios because of preconceptions. Aafia was alleged to be a "facilitator" who handled logistics. "Logistics" is handling an operation that involves providing labor and materials be supplied as needed. As explained above, under one plausible view of the facts, Aafia apparently has been detained for the past year by the Pakistan ISI and held incommunicado for a year. The newspaper Dawn reported again today that an unnamed Interior Ministry official said she had been detained over a year ago."
...
"Aafia's mom, sister and brother reportedly do not know the whereabouts of Aafia's children. Attorney Lamoreaux advises me that she knows of no basis to the suggestion, first made by a Southern Florida television station, that Aafia knew "Jaffar the Pilot." (I am further advised by the civil rights attorney that Aafia, although said by the Pakistan press to be a member of the "Chemical Wire Group", in fact does not know anything about chemicals.) (And from her course of study there's no reason to think Aafia would). "
...
"Is the listing in Curepe, Trinidad for United Islamic Organization -- the charity founded by her mother Ismaat for which Aafia and her sister worked -- related to Adnan ElShukrimah aka Jaffar the Pilot? (Were books printed there?) Is it the same group or just a coincidence in names? Her attorney didn't respond to this question. (Adnan's father, once a translator for the Blind Sheikh, had lived for years in Trinidad where Adnan's father was a missionary). After 9/11, he travelled to Saudi Arabia via Trinidad and have hold a forged passport from Trinidad among several others. Shukrijumah left his Miramar home in May 2001, sources in Guyana reportedly say that US intelligence agents focused their search on the Caribbean island of Trinidad. Was Adnan ever associated with the United Islamic Organization address at 118 Southern Main Road, Curepe, Trinidad? Is that a branch of the United Islamic Organization family charity Aafia helped with? (Other "branches" in the past have been run out of the residences of family members or other volunteer)."
...
"Is she [Siddiqui] a mother of three and driver of a volvo who frequents playgrounds as the family's ACLU attorney Annette Lamoreaux suggests? Or is she a dedicated political operative, who nearly a decade ago, objected to the extradition of Ramzi Yousef the 1993 WTC bombing plotter (done, she says, in exchange or in search of US appropriations)."
http://madiaq.indymedia.org/news/2004/05/7516.php Creepy stuff; we have a Pakistani connection (the airport warning), Aafia Siddiqui being connected to "Jaffar the Pilot" AKA Shukrijumah, a distant connection to Khalid Sheikh Mohammad (one mastermind of 9/11) and a possible connection to Ramzi Yousef, (Khalid's nephew, the mastermind of WTC 1993 and original planner of 9/11).

Or not.

I'd guess that the plan is to hijack the planes
of S.American airlines inbound to the US.
S.Am airport and airline security has to be an easier
nut to crack than sneaking into the US to pull off some
aerial stunt.
I wonder just how we vet airliners penetrating the
ADIZ these days, and whether we have fighters within
reach if one fails the challenge/response (if any).

And..........we've spent BILLIONS on airline security, BILLIONS on securing our ports, Billions on Homeland security............Then leave our back door open for ANYONE to come in. I admire what the Bush team has done with the war on terror, but they have sure screwed the pooch in this deopartment. They've been reminded about it for 2 1/2 years now and have chose to ignore it.

I see this guy so often - mostly on FR - and I see so many muslims who look almost exactly like him, mostly at convenience stores.
