Maybe I should try and find Sobran's Wanderer columns from when I read it. Usually when I read something I find offensive, I just pass it by. These kinds of sentiments would jump out at me. I would have written and complained.
I grew up with that kind of mentality. My mom had some odd views about people. I tried to point out to her that newspapers like Catholic Family News and "Fighting Michael"(crackpots in Canada) were not spiritually uplifting, and in fact were racist. She couldn't understand when I went and cancelled the subscriptions to them, even though she had bought the subscriptions. I didn't want it laying around the house where the kids could see it.
Since I'm familiar with the mentality, and the fact that FR won't allow his articles to be posted, then I'll take your word for it. I don't remember reading anything by Sam Francis, although the name sounds familiar.
