Tom the whacko dumped her because their prenup said that if they were married 10 years, she'd get major claim to his money. If they didn't make it to the 10 year mark, he would only have to pay a much smaller sentiment. So Tom the butt pirate dumped her 9 1/2 years into the marriage. And he stuck her with the kids, too which were adopted (Tom didn't want to make his own babies for some reason).
