Let's again review.
Leahy calls Cheney a traitor willing to trade American lives for a few dollars to the company he used to work for (these leftist conspiracy theories never make sense).
This is not the first time Leahy has made the accusation he knows to be false to smear Cheney's good name. Cheney swore back. In a previous age, this would have led to a duel.
You want to talk incivility? Look at Pat Leahy. Were he a man with any integrity, he would apologize and resign for his crude smears.
But he won't. And the press will let it slide as is par for the course.
He needed eff-in.
I have often seen that lefty Leahy, Demonrat, in action on C-Span and on other network coverage. I have wished that I could run into him or call him on the phone just so I could use the full Monty repertoire of four letter words to express my true feelings for that lefty Leahy. I know that I would get arrested for verbal assault or have an FBI pay me a visit for my verbal attack on that jerk. Dick Cheney has done what many have only dreamed to give that socialist a piece of their mind. Cheney has, as my duly elected representative, shown this nation representative government at its best. With the volley of just one of those words, he has brought millions of us so much satisfaction that, I would if I could, buy Dick Cheney a steak dinner at Ruth Chris's.
Whenever I happen to catch the interrogation of an Ashcroft or a judicial nominee by a committee that Leahy is on, I get this almost uncontrollable urge to b!tch-slap the smarmy, superior grin off of that bald jerk's face.
