Until that time there was a certain chic about railing against the government in general and Clinton in particular. OKC changed that. Only those who passed the "kook test" was still talking about that stuff. Remember initally some talk radio was saying we don't agree with the tactics, but we understand the frustration. Even that died pretty quickly.
Clinton allocated resources to home grown right wing terrorists rather than the real problem --- ISLAMIC TERRORISTS. That was done for his own political agenda.
