While the 44mil number is indeed sad, this map is a bit hyperbolic.
As others have stated, if the abortions were shown where they happened (in the cities) then it'd seem less horrible.
On the other hand, it might also show liberals what they've done to themselves, as this map is probably the inverse and their support has been seriously eroded by their own actions!
A note, kindly intended, to those who regarded it as "hyperbolic": I did indeed chose the least populous counties, and I did indeed chose them to make the maximum visual impact, for this particular image, a map. If I were going to focus on the most populous counties, I wouldn't use a map, I'd use pictures of those cities.
