The latest NewsWeek magazine revealed some interesting El Qaida insiders information. It shows that Bin Laden was over ruled when he wanted to order the attack on America one year before 9/11. Other senior officials in the El Qaida feared a war with the US, and losing the support from Pakistan. In other words there has been some sort of moderation discussion in the mist of this rabid fanatic organization. This rabid organization has good links with the government of Saudi Arabia, and Iran, which are governed by not totally crazy people. These governments could have purchased the nukes and placed them in their embassies in the US. You know the international rule not to search diplomatic pouches!

We all know that mini nukes are in the hands of countries that are friends of the US. These countries can be seeking to put us on notice that we are not going to get away with absolute disregard to their interests. Smuggling such devices to the US is not a bog deal, as we have seen on TV. Therefore, the potential of such devices being hidden in unfriendly embassies is very possible. Having said so, I doubt that any of these countries would risk a nuclear war against the US. These devices are here essentially as an insurance policy?
