Rush mentioned this yesterday and also said that in actual sales, Moore's movie wasn't doing that hot.
Laura Ingram had a good idea for any conservatives who want to see the movie...buy tickets for something else like Shrek II and then walk into Moore's movie.

Why is F911 still showing "estimate" for Friday and Saturday?
Is that because the numbers are no where near accurate?
I'm beginning to suspect that the claim for Sunday includes Friday and Saturday as well.

"White Chicks"Gee, how come no one has made a movie called "Black Chicks"? Would the NAACP be offended? Why is okay in this instance?
Just a passing thought....

Farenheit911 made $21-24 mil last weekend, but that's to be expected as the Bushhaters flock to the screens.
I predict 8 mil on the second week and 3 mil on the third week -- maybe a total of 38 million for the summer.
Typically, theatres take 50% and distributors take 15%, leaving Moore 35% of each dollar at the box offfice, so I expect Moore to net 13-14 Million.
However, the film costs 6.5 million to make and had a 10 mil advertising budget, so Moore will probably need to make his profit on DVD sales.

I am sure that the mainstream media will pick up on this and quickly report why this film about black american culture polking fun at racist american culture (opposite of old vaudville "black face" acts) is now more important that MM's 9-11. (/sarcasm)
I guess even with all the hype MM's 9-11 was a flash in the pan. I only hope that Clintoon's "My Life" also falls off the charts as well.

This is funny, but to be expected.

Gee, how come no one has made a movie called "Black Chicks"? Because once you go white...you'll never go black.

After Spiderman's release tomorrow the following movies are scheduled:
- King Arthur 7/7
- Anchorman 7/9
- I, Robot 7/16
- Catwoman 7/23
- Bourne Supremacy 7/23
Farenheit 911 had it's weekend of fame, now it will be forgotten.

Sailors used to refer to "Davey Jone's Locker" as a euphemism for death at sea.
As in, "It's Davey Jone's Locker for you, mate!" Said by a pirate as he runs through some fat Quaker shipper on his cargo ship.
Well, "It's The Day After Tomorrow for you, Mister Moore! We shan't be missing your stink!"
