I'm trying to put myself in Amber's place... I need a refresher on what happened with the previous married guy and that whole fiasco. It's been so long I've forgotten.
What if, Sibley not only warned Snott that Amber wasn't to be used, but told him all about Amber's history and he though she would be just perfect. What if scheming Snott saw her as one with the perfect past that could fit his fantasy crime.. I think he was stringing her along with calls and trying to set her up. I think that's why she went to the police because she must have realized how vulnerable she was. With that in mind, why would she want to have any private chats with that sick SOB. No, I can't see how she would let her guard down to speak to him out of respect for the good times. He let her know, through his lies about lies about lies that he was still lying and she really did not know who she was fooling around with and he was never going to tell her...cause he was hoping to use her as a scapegoat or someone he could point to (like the purple car).. It's a good thing she went to the police...

Hey, that guy Thomas Capano who killed his ex-girlfriend in Delaware--HE tried hard to set it up to look like his OTHER ex-girlfriend killed her, and thus he would "screw two birds with one stone", so to speak.
What I said about Clinton, I am referring to that account by David Schippers. He said that congresspersons filed in and out of a room in which was evidence about Clinton's various flings, and one congresswoman put her head in her hands, after reading all the stuff, and said, "Oh my God, this is his M.O.!" Clinton picked a certain type of woman--the one who would be vulnerable for some reason or other. That way, if things ever got out of hand, the woman would be less than believable (he thought). I think this M.O. worked well for him till he took up with that bold-as-brass southern CA girl. Seems modern-day southern CA girl culture was just too alien to Clinton's old-fashioned "travelling salesman cad" type of thinking. He didn't realize that nowadays there are girls who actually BRAG about giving people "Lewinskys".
