Judge tells Peterson jury to keep quiet
REDWOOD CITY -- The judge in the Scott Peterson double-murder trial Monday warned all of the trial participants not to talk about the case to the media.
Judge Alfred Delucchi was responding to stories that surfaced at the end of last week, when a representative of the Modesto Police Department publicly defended Detective Al Brocchini, who has been the subject of harsh criticism by Peterson's lawyer Mark Geragos during his time on the witness stand.
"This has to stop. Go tell the chief he's going to have to sit on his people," Delucchi told a Modesto police captain. .........

Lead defense attorney Mark Geragos continued his quest to show that Modesto police zeroed in on his client, Scott Peterson, while ignoring other credible leads that poured in after 27-year-old Laci Peterson was reported missing.
First Geragos pointed to Kim McGregor, a neighbor who admitted to police that she stole a video camera, several jackets and Laci Peterson's Social Security card from the Petersons' Covena Avenue home.
He also suggested that Amber Frey, Scott Peterson's former girlfriend, held back some taped phone calls from authorities after agreeing to secretly record her conversations with Scott.
The suggestions came during a wide-ranging cross-examination of Detective Al Brocchini, who took the witness stand for a fourth day.

REDWOOD CITY -- Kim McGregor appeared to be infatuated with Scott Peterson, and she robbed his home after his wife disappeared.
Monday, Peterson's defense team pointed to the Peterson neighbor as an indication that police ignored other suspects in the missing-person case that turned into a double homicide.
Lead attorney Mark Geragos also suggested that Peterson's former girlfriend, Amber Frey -- after she agreed to secretly record her conversations with Peterson -- did not reveal some of the calls.
The questioning about McGregor and Frey came as Geragos cross-examined Modesto police Detective Al Brocchini for a third day. The defense scored a blow toward the end of last week when Brocchini admitted that he "excised" a key piece of information from a police report.
Sgt. Ed Steele came to Brocchini's defense Friday in an interview with The Associated Press, violating a gag order in the case. This led to a warning -- but no sanctions -- from Superior Court Judge Alfred Delucchi to the Police Department.
Delucchi reminded all of the participants that the order issued by Stanislaus County Judge Al Girolami before the trial began forbids not only the attorneys and police from commenting on the case but also any witnesses who have been subpoenaed, including family members of either Scott or Laci Peterson. The judge said that while he did not want to be a "policeman," he would not hesitate to use his authority to prevent anyone involved in the trial from talking to the media.

I've had it with the reporting, the ex-Juror is now on CTV, the Peterson's are going to be on 20/20 on Friday night with Barbara Walters, the Petersons mouths never stop going on the courthouse steps, Geragos has obviously sent out minions to the TH shows. It's become a circus. I've had it. CTV gun not connected to case,as far as they know. Expert says it was operable.
Geragos on cross asked if he cleaned it before test-firing. The gun was dirty when recovered from glove compartment.

I don't trust the reporting about "just got Brocchini to admit" same thing was said about the warehouse witness. This Judge has got to take control of this case. It's almost too late now EXCEPT that I am of the opinion that the Prosecutor is such a disciplined and thorough Prosecutor that he has kept some bombshell evidence secret.
Me too fiesti. I'm sick of this fruitcake. In fact, I cannot listen to him. The networks need to be peppered with complaints. We should find out which advertisers back CTV and start telling them we aren't going to buy their products anymore. CTV is becoming a joke.

Death threats?? I didn't know delinquent teenaged boys were following this case? What kind of person would waste their time sending empty (I HOPE they're empty) threats to this fool Justin Falconer? I certainly wouldn't. It's enough for me to simply express my opinion here that he is LAAAAME. LAAAAAME! And, um, not too bright, but definitely in it for the money he is now getting, and will probably get when he writes some inane "book".

I will always remember Amber's coming out speech where she was addressing the media and when she came to Snott, she looked to her right as she said "Scott told me he was single" and you could see the rage in her. Hell hath no fury as a scorned masseuse !

Hey, that guy Thomas Capano who killed his ex-girlfriend in Delaware--HE tried hard to set it up to look like his OTHER ex-girlfriend killed her, and thus he would "screw two birds with one stone", so to speak.
What I said about Clinton, I am referring to that account by David Schippers. He said that congresspersons filed in and out of a room in which was evidence about Clinton's various flings, and one congresswoman put her head in her hands, after reading all the stuff, and said, "Oh my God, this is his M.O.!" Clinton picked a certain type of woman--the one who would be vulnerable for some reason or other. That way, if things ever got out of hand, the woman would be less than believable (he thought). I think this M.O. worked well for him till he took up with that bold-as-brass southern CA girl. Seems modern-day southern CA girl culture was just too alien to Clinton's old-fashioned "travelling salesman cad" type of thinking. He didn't realize that nowadays there are girls who actually BRAG about giving people "Lewinskys".
Scott's employee Eric Olsen on the stand. Went to a conference in Disneyland where they met Shawn Sibley. Shawn and Scott were discussing sexual positions at dinner. Eric was very uncomfortable as he knew scott was married and his wife was pregnant.
Shawn Sibley is going to testify this week according to Beth Karas.
We're getting close to Amber testifying.
