It never seems to sink in that all this hate-talk is being read by others..... whether they're serving in our military, or even just other freepers. Doesn't seem to phase them.

Good point. As Muslims fight in our armed forces, and President Bush has embraced Muslim allies in this war against terrorism, anti-Islamic vitriol like we unfortunately see around here sometimes isn't merely bigoted rantings. It's an attempt to divide our coalition...no different from an attempt to increase dissension between ourselves and the UK or the USSR in 1943.
