The President continued his visit in Ireland on Saturday with an EU summit. Saturday night, the First Couple flew to Ankara, Turkey, where they were received by the heads of state and Church.

Sunday, June 27th, the President reviewed the Turkey troops, laid a wreath at the mausoleum of Turkey's founder Kemal Ataturk in Ankara. He attended a formal photo shoot of the NATO Summit attendees, and then a welcoming dinner at the Dolmabahce Palace in Istanbul, Turkey. The NATO meetings will be held on Monday and Tuesday.

In a surprise sequence of events, L. Paul Bremer signed over full sovereignty to Iraq's interim government two days ahead of schedule in surprise ceremony; Saddam to be indicted this week.

It would suck to be a liberal regardless of the day.

It is hard for me to believe that Blair ever had a friendship with clinton. Blair has so much more integrity than 42.

Remember, unfortunately, that Bubba is a charmer.

I've heard people who viscerally dislike the man, say that when being near him, they were just struck by the charm and charisma of the man.

Knowing that "charisma" means "holy spirit", I can't agree.

But it is possible that he sucked PM Blair into that inner circle, and fooled him.

I have to believe that as far as religion, morals and values go, PM Blair has a lot more in common with Pres. Bush than the former occupant of the White House.

And that's the truth. Phfffft! Truthy

About those quarterly CIA briefings?

The people preparing the brief don't think very much of Clinton and his ability to handle secrets, so what he gets are really overview without any technical details.

For example, instead of it being at the highest level of security clearance, like a Top Secret, it's more like Confidential.

I'm somehow sure that Poppy, having been a former head of CIA and former President, gets much more detailed briefings, because they know he can keep his mouth shut.

Never fear that Clinton is ever told anything that could hurt us if he told someone or sold the information, the latter being more typical of his type of behavior. Let's never forget "campaign finance" and Clintoon's attitude toward getting money, at any cost.

You know, hoosiermama, there is a "policy" that no one back home says anything negative whilst the President is overseas. It is important for heads of state to see that the President is supported in his own Country.

Thanks to that no class Kerry and I think I also heard that Clinton made a speech yesterday or today - anyway, two NO class individuals, who chose to make very negative comments about the President of the US while he is overseas.

Totally tasteless.

I seem to remember someone who really got cranced for doing that while BillyBobBoyBubba was overseas, and upon his return, he mentioned the hapless individual for at least 5 following speeches. Talk about paybacks?

We all know that President Bush is above such taudry behavior. It'd be nice if Clintoon and Kerry could remember their manners - OR if someone on their staff would remind them of proper protocol. Sheesh.

Okay, we know Clinton never had any manners but at least, John F'n Kerry pretends to have manners. His New England accent is dripping with the hint of propah behavior and good breeding. But he's proved he's just a lowlife like the trailer trash who were in the WH for too many years.

I now return you to the wonderful pictures of our President and his lady.

Truthy

Oh are they gonna love me after I've visited them with these goodies!

Thank you so much.

They love it when I have reading material of any sorts and videos and DVD's - Oh my. I'm going to be the most popular visitor they've had.

You'll have a FReepmail with a prayer request for a particular wounded soldier in a moment.

Blessings, Patty. Thank you SO much - for the wounded.

I, too, think he will make a surprise visit to Iraq. But I think he will be received like a Rock Star in his prime just announcing his farewell tour and EVERYBODY wants to see him.

She has a personal trainer who comes to the WH 3-4 times a week, she told David Letterman when she was on the "Tonight" show a couple of weeks ago.

She even held up her arm, like boys do, to show their biceps? She is looking more and more "toned" and it's making a difference in her appearance.

I deleted a comment of mine about something the First Lady could use some help with - as being too personal but still.........

You know where I get the name "truth" from now, don't you? Hard for me to keep my yap shut when sompin' needs saying. Y'all'll be happy to know that I've worked a LOT on my diplomacy skills - how to say things without it huting someone because the truth can be used as a weapon.

And as you've said before, his vision of bringing democracy to the Middle East is a bold and daring plan - one that will surely have his name in every history book.

We haven't seen a President of such vision since FDR.

They'd better think about how to add his face to Mt. Rushmore - or another mountain?

LET FREEDOM REIGN. How true and how prophetic.

I predict President Bush and Tony Blair will visit Iraq on Wednesday, I think they will meet with the interim Prime Minister and President of Iraq and hold a press conference from the Green Zone on Wednesday. The Iraqi's will love it and so will the rest of the world.

Ohhhh, and we've been worried about the First Couple being in Turkey?

And now you speculate that both President Bush and Prime Minister Blair will go to Iraq?

Double up on your prayers everybody. We have to cover this President and Prime Minister with prayer, rock solid, with-every-breath-PRAYER!!!

And we thought the Libs were upset today? Get ready for a hissy fit the likes of which we haven't seen in a long, long time.

We haven't seen a President of such vision since FDR.

Correction on my post by me. Since Ronald W. Reagan.

I'm tired and slipped a cog on that one.

I was up until 5 AM EDT on the turnover of Iraq to Iraqi's and then got only about 5 hours sleep because I just had to find out what else was going on.

Heading to bed for a nice, solid 8 hours of snooze.

Truthy

.....who is now here, talking to herself.

Night Night.
