i would agree that he is a jerk, but it seems to me that he put up the fence to keep the other questionable stock out, coming from a cattle family, it wouldnt go over well in ours, but then the wondering bull would have been shot or taken by the authorities.
My point is that he forced others to help him pay for that fence. If it was that important to him he should have paid for the darn thing himself.
Frankly I wouldn't want my stock wandering with others either.
