In the next days the movement Balli Kombetar (Ballistian People) is going to be registered in Macedonia, Focus News Agency’s correspondent in Skopje reported.
According to the Albanian newspaper Flaka, Balli Kombetar already acts in the area of Kosovo, after a conference in the town of Prizren in the beginning of June.
Balli Kombetar acts in Albania as an extreme right wing and radical party.
As Focus News Agency already reported, the establishment of Balli Kombetar in Macedonia has been preceded by a scientific conference of historians in the town of Gostivar, on the topic of “The Truth of the Ballist Movement”.
During the conference, Albanian historians united on the thesis that the Ballist movement is national and anti-communist.
The Ballists movement in Albania, Kosovo and Western Macedonia started immediately after August 12 1941, when Mussolini’s Italy annexed the territory of Kosovo. In September 1939 the Italian forces occupy Albania. The movement is called Ballist under the name of major Fulvio Ballisti, one of the founders of the fascist movement in Italy in 1918-1919.
The basis of the movement is the idea of “Great Albania” and its leadership in 1943 was implemented in today’s Kosovo by Djafer Deva and Rifat Berisha.
On the basis of Balli Kombetar in 1943 the elite SS division Skenderbeg was established.
