For months, the media has attacked the president for failing to communicate a clear message on Iraq. And yet news of the president's major policy speech on that subject was met with almost complete indifference by the most powerful newspapers in America.

What speech???
heh
he gave a speech?
Here's your problem, Joe, don't try to get your news "every morning" from the NYT's. And secondly, try getting a paycheck from a news org. with a little more respectability than MSNBC.

To give him credit, that's two good articles today. One demonstrating that F911 is full of lies, and the other that the media are lying too.
Date of article..........May 25, 2004
Is it just me, or is this article a month old?
This article is a bit long in the tooth
As others have already pointed out on this thread, this article is date May 25.
Actually, I heard plenty of this speech on the news, and watched it on C-SPAN. On one hand, it was somewhat shameful that the networks all chose not to broadcast the speech, but on the other, I was rather disappointed by the speech. Frankly, Bush could have said most of what he said in the speech the better part of a year before, and what he did say was lacking in detail. So it was shameful not to cover it, but they didn't miss much, either...

Yes, I noticed that too, after my comment. Well, that's two good articles in a month, then.
